UKGI MD, Nikki Bennett, speaks at amii Summit
UKGI's Managing Director, Nikki Bennett, delivered an insightful speech at this year's Association of Medical Insurers and Intermediaries (amii) summit in Birmingham this month. Her presentation focused on Consumer Duty Board Reports and the importance of supporting vulnerable individuals. This practical session gave intermediaries insight into the importance of embedding consumer duty within the business, developing the right metrics and KPIs to assess how a firm is seeing the right benefits from Consumer Duty, and also how customer outcomes can be improved and the risk of harm reduced. Examples of how to structure and develop effective Board reports was covered in detail, and Nikki was able to provide further support into how firms should be providing the right evidence at the right time.
As well as speaking at the Summit, UKGI also hosted an exhibition stand for members to learn more about our role as the trade association's compliance partners.
