UKGI Learning Solutions Welcomes New Team Members

UKGI Learning Solutions is thrilled to announce two new additions to our team. James Best joins as our new Learning Design Specialist, while Rebecca Matyear is our new Senior Content Writer. Their arrival allows us to bolster our e-learning and technical content offering, whilst complementing our existing team of experienced designers, learning and development consultants, and subject matter experts.

James, a former schoolteacher brings a wealth of experience. With his background as an educationalist, he brings great insight into learning processes and looks forward to using his experience in the classroom to enhance Development Zone content, boost learning engagement, and enrich the educational experience of users.

Rebecca previously worked as a content writer and has experience researching and creating multimedia content. With a keen interest in current and emerging industry affairs, Rebecca responds through a critical lens and, by promoting thought and discussion, will increase awareness of UKGI’s work.

James and Rebecca are immersing themselves in the UKGI team and insurance industry, alongside reviewing and producing content. James is developing innovative learning design strategies, looking to increase the engagement and motivation of our online learners by transferring methods traditionally employed in the classroom into a workplace setting, emphasising the reflective element of CPD.

Rebecca has been busy building relationships with subject matter experts and delving into timely insurance industry topics, which will be explored through new e-learning modules and weekly Insight articles.

Both bring different skills and perceptions, and we are excited to see how they will enrich the creative outlet of the team and generate new ideas! With an expanded team, UKGI Learning Solutions is more equipped than ever to continue producing strong, engaging and highly relevant e-learning content which allows learners to develop and grow beyond regulatory requirements.
