John King Adds Value to RWA’s Compliance and Consultancy Services

We are delighted to announce that John King is working with RWA and bringing his wide-ranging and pragmatic regulatory knowledge to assist our clients with high-level compliance support.

John left the FCA in April after 16 years with the regulator in front line supervision and was responsible for 5,000 insurance intermediaries. Before that he was with Willis and is also a Chartered Accountant, having qualified with PWC.

Many of our clients will know John from seeing him present at the FCA’s Live & Local regional programme, BIBA Compliance Forums or RWA Masterclasses.

There has been a lot coming out of the FCA for brokers to focus on, such as IDD, the Dear CEO letter on the Distribution Chain, Pricing Market Study, Value Measures, Due Diligence on Insurers and Vulnerable Customers.

SM&CR, a key priority for the FCA in improving Governance and Culture, is to be implemented in December 2019. John has been involved in all these areas and can use his experience to advise accordingly on the key things you should be doing to stay on the right side of the regulator.

Please get in touch with your usual RWA contact if you wish to meet or discuss a matter with John.

John will also be joining RWA at our next round of masterclasses and workshops looking at SM&CR from September.
