Affirmation at the e-Assessment Awards 2018

The 18th April was the hottest April day for 70 years and a heady evening by all accounts, as I attended the International e-Assessment awards hosted at the Doubletree by Hilton, near the Tower of London.

RWA’s Development Zone platform had been shortlisted for the ‘Best Use of Formative Assessment’ award in recognition of its groundbreaking gap analysis assessment model, which has been deployed so successfully in the UK financial services/insurance sector.

e-Learning professionals from all over the world gathered for a drinks reception and dinner, interspersed with awards throughout.

While the award ultimately went to Vretti Inc. for their project with the Ministry of Education, Luxembourg, the entire category was singled out as having an exceptionally high standard of submission.

This recognition is a great take away from the event; while RWA did not walk away with any silverware, the Development Zone has shown that it can confidently step up to some major international competition and the entire team at RWA is proud of this acknowledgement.

The evening was a superb affirmation that the Development Zone platform is a powerhouse of innovation, formative assessment and reporting, helping 1000’s of people with their training, competency and CPD initiatives across the UK.
