RWA Selected In The 2016 Wales Digital Dozen

RWA has been selected for this year’s prestigious Digital Dozen by the organisers of the UK technology event, Digital 2016. The 12 finalists chosen by Innovation Point are driving digital change and harnessing the latest technological advances to offer a range of trailblazing products and services. The organisers have selected a diverse mix of companies that are making an impact on the UK’s economy through ground-breaking uses of technology and all things digital.

RWA provides online learning and assessment solutions to learners around the world and in the last 12 months has re-launched the Aviva Development Zone online learning solution for insurance brokers to help increase their knowledge and business skills.

RWA CEO, Tom Wood, said: “Our team has spent a number of years designing, building and looking at ways in which we can transform online learning through a combination of digital technology and personal support. We’ve all had poor experiences with e-learning and RWA has looked at creative and low cost ways in which we can change that and the feedback we get from our learners shows that our system is increasing the skills that they learn and provides a level of engagement that they have not had before. In 2015, we saw learner usage grow by 489% on the Aviva Development Zone and we are now looking to launch a system outside of the insurance market that all businesses and individuals can access and we are already working on solutions overseas.”

“It is great that the organisers have recognised a diverse range of digital innovators in Wales; it’s a rapidly growing industry and one which Wales should be proud of. It also highlights the opportunities for businesses to grow in small towns like Blaenavon, where we have access to a talented and committed workforce as well as good links with the local community.”

Digital 2016 takes place at the Celtic Manor Resort in Newport on the 6th and 7th June 2016 and the successful dozen will have the opportunity to showcase the technology they have on offer and share their knowledge of the growing digital sector.
