Having been a winner himself in 2014, RWA CEO Tom Wood has been invited to join the judging panel for the second year to help select the next winner of the Leadership for the Future category at the Leading Wales Awards 2016 in Cardiff, South Wales.
The Leadership for the Future category "is open to individuals from all sectors (Public, Private, Voluntary and Social Enterprise) whose leadership is impacting significantly on the sustainability of their business or organisation. By sustainability we mean leadership which impacts positively on any or all of environmental, economic and social sustainability."
Tom said: "I very much look forward to meeting the finalists and listening to their stories and hearing of their successes. As a previous winner I know how important these awards are at rewarding great transformational leaders within Wales and promoting the difference they are making in their businesses and communities. This category is important because it focuses not just on financial success or growth of an organisation, but how the Leader is making a difference to the long term future of Wales and the communities within which they work. The finalists that I judged last year were all of a very high calibre and I know that this year the decision will be just as hard."
