Compliance and business consultancy firm RWA has acquired Hansen Young Consulting (HYC) to boost its rising business growth support services in the financial services sector.
HYC MD, Andrew Linnell, has joined the RWA team within their business growth and strategy support division.
The move consolidates RWA’s position as one of the leading compliance and business consultancy firms in the UK general insurance market and further its aim to support more insurance firms and brokerages with their own growth plans and strategies.
Tom Wood, CEO at RWA, said: “Regulation is just one of the challenges facing financial services businesses in the UK. Through RWA Compliance we have helped hundreds of firms manage their regulatory risks and our clients regularly come to us to ask for further high level support to help their businesses grow and develop. Our knowledge of the UK insurance market means that we can provide the professional support to help our clients develop their businesses by focussing on strategy, leadership and business growth with TCF and regulatory controls firmly embedded in the company culture.”
“Andrew brings with him a wealth of experience and passion to helping businesses grow organically or through acquisition and we very much look forward to having him as part our business consultancy team.”
“Acquiring HYC and welcoming Andrew to the team is the latest step in our plans to increase the level of value that we can deliver to both existing and new clients.”
Andrew Linnell said, “I am delighted that Hansen Young Consulting is becoming a part of the RWA family.”
“We have a shared vision of how our knowledge, skills and expertise can help our clients improve and grow their businesses. RWA and HYC have many years of supporting clients and I am delighted to be joining a business that is ambitious in what it wants to achieve and professional in how it goes about achieving its ambitions. I am excited about the future opportunity and delighted that HYC clients will now have access to a much broader range of services.”
