Course of the month for July - Religion and the Workplace

Despite many preconceptions, continual professional development, or CPD, does not always have to focus upon technical subjects, which is why I was interested to see the Development Zone's course of the month for July, which covers the subject of 'Religion in the Workplace - Accommodating Religious Beliefs'.

I must confess that it would not be my normal choice of CPD and suspected I would experience some sort of tub-thumping from the title, but I have to admit I really found the 15 minutes of assessment and study pleasantly eye-opening.

Can I urge all readers with Development Zone licences to give the course a try, and for those of you without a license, sign up for a free trial and give it a try, too.

There is a ten question gap analysis followed by the course materials, and then a revisit to the analysis if needed, to see what you have learned.

As I have said, not all CPD has to be technical and I know the FCA actually encourage learning which is steered towards customer focussed TCF content and this certainly fits that bill.
